Inside Our Tallaght Flagship Store Official Launch!
Harvey Norman Tallaght is now open! We cut the red ribbon with giant scissors and opened the doors to our 60,000 sq. ft. flagship store Monday morning. Joined by many special guests, staff and media partners, we are thrilled to welcome our customers to our biggest store in the country.
Getting off to a bubbling start with mimosas, breakfast canapés and in-store jazz entertainment to set the scene, it was time for our CEO Blaine Callard to officially open for business!
Broadcasted live on Ireland AM, Alan Hughes joined many of our special guests as he toured the various departments. Bestselling cookery author Roz Purcell stopped by to test out our mini kitchen, cooking up a storm with scents of her mouthwatering peanut butter raspberry bread wafting through the air.
Check out interviews with guests including renowned interior designer Neville Knott who revealed his top bedroom decor tips, our very own Head of Homewares Yvonne Nugent on AW17 trend forecasting and all things tech with The Gadget Guy Colin Baker straight from our tech hub.
Walking through each department felt like a real destination shopping experience. Each bedroom alcove and living room design is an interior obsessive’s dream, with exquisite furniture pieces and the most sumptuous sofas on offer, some of which are exclusively available from the flagship only. Our expert sleep specialists were on hand to help people find the perfect mattress. Not to mention the glistening homeware section, decadently displaying the finest accessories to complete every room in the house.
Approaching the appliances and technology sections, there was a real buzz of excitement in the air. Particularly around the impressive Games Hub where the Acer Predator 21 X was on display for the launch day only, wowing passersby with its incredible performance features.
The Wonder Photo Shop is designed to bring your memories to life while the Dyson Blow Dry Bar was busy beautifying guests with the latest hair styling tools.
As mentioned in our recent blog post, we had three very glamorous additions joining us all the way from Harrods, London. The Dolce & Gabanna for Smeg collaboration included a toaster, juicer and kettle encased in a glass cabinet and guarded by security – unfortunately we could only get our hands on them for just two days.
That’s simply a snapshot of what’s on offer, so we highly recommend popping in and shopping around the truly phenomenal store located at on the corner of Airton and Greenhills Rd, Tallaght, D24.
